The Heritage Science Laboratory (HSLL) was recently featured on Radio Val 202 show Frekvenca X, in a special episode titled “Xkurzija: Laboratorij dediščinske znanosti“. Hosted by Dr. Tjaša Rijavec, Emma Paolin and Dr. Matija Strlič, this interview offered listeners an insight into the daily research activities of the HSLL.
The team talked about the relevance of heritage science and demonstrated this through their work on preserving paper, plastics and other fragile heritage materials, as well as about the analysis and understanding of smells of historic objects, with the aim to engage museum audiences.
