As part of the project “Smell and Intangible Cultural Heritage” (ARIS, J7-50233), two books by Prof. Dr. Mojca Ramšak were published in 2024: Antropologija vonja (Ljubljana: Alma Mater Europaea – ISH) and The Anthropology of Smell (Springer). Both books offer important insights into smell from a socio-cultural perspective and open up important reflections on smell that go beyond anatomy and physiology. The English version of The Anthropology of Smell is not only a literal translation of the Slovenian book but also an upgrade of the topic adapted for raders outside Slovenia.
