First E-RIHS.SI conference was held in the Assembly Hall of the University of Ljubljana with 19 papers and 16 posters, among other things, the work of the Austrian E-RIHS node was presented by dr. Klaudia Hradil from the Technical University of Vienna.

European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science – Slovenia (E-RIHS.si) hosted a Meeting to Celebrate the Enlargement of the E-RIHS.SI Consortium, which took place on 20 September at 3 p.m. CET in Zbornična dvorana of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In this way, we celebrated the signing of the Annex to the E-RIHS Consortium Agreement, by which the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS), the National Institute of Chemistry (KI), the National and University Library (NUK), the University of Maribor (UM) and the Slovenian national Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG) joined the E-RIHS.si Consortium.

Public Workshop: Value and Role of Smells in Museum Practice was organised by the Heritage Science Laboratory Ljubljana and was held on July 4 2022 in a hybrid format, live at Zbornična dvorana of the University of Ljubljana as well as online. The workshop gave participants the opportunity to learn more about smell as cultural heritage and to learn about examples of good practice in olfactory exhibitions and the conservation and restoration aspects of smell.
